As a DevSecOps Engineer on the NextGen OPIR Program, you will be an integral part of a small, high-performing Product Team, collaborating closely with a Scrum Master and Product Owner. Your role will involve supporting daily Scrum meetings, team demos, and monthly staff calls, all while working under general supervision to achieve larger team goals. You will be expected to embrace continuous improvement, prioritize outcomes over metrics, and foster a collaborative team environment. In this position, you will interpret complex system requirements and contribute to the detailed design, coding of new content, and bug fixes. You will also be responsible for unit testing, automating unit tests where possible, and contributing to integration testing as needed. The software integration projects you will work on will vary widely, encompassing satellite command and control software, satellite payload sensor management software, mission-specific software, and ground hardware and network control software. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and work effectively within an agile team. This is a mid-senior level role requiring a minimum of 9 years of professional experience and a BS degree or higher. A Final Secret security clearance is mandatory prior to starting the position.
