Responsibilities

  • Partner with others to understand their specific training and staff development needs, conducting thorough needs assessments and gap analyses.
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that align with company goals and employee development needs.
  • Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, case studies, and simulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on the most effective training methods, formats, and delivery options based on the client's objectives and resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, adjusting content and delivery as needed.
  • Deliver high-impact training sessions using a variety of facilitation techniques, ensuring active participation and skill acquisition.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and development, bringing fresh ideas to client engagements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Assist clients in establishing career development paths and strategies to foster employee growth and retention.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on improving existing training programs and processes.
  • Prepare detailed training proposals, including scope, objectives, methodologies, and timelines.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, maintaining clear communication and meeting project deadlines.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in the field of training and staff development.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree and 1+ years of experience, or
  • A Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience, or
  • An Associate's Degree and 5+ years of experience, or
  • At least 7+ years of experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role.
  • Broad knowledge understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and training evaluation methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs across various formats (in-person, virtual, blended).
  • Extensive presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs, gather data, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, capable of working with cross-functional teams and adjusting to client needs.
  • Broad consulting experience and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Passion for continuous learning and a commitment to staying current with industry trends.
