About the position

As a Staff Engineer in Process Control & Data Solutions, you will be joining a dynamic team focused on delivering innovative solutions in automation, controls, SCADA, and robotics. You will be assigned a mentor who will guide you through various project assignments, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in multiple practice areas including PLC programming, SCADA development, and robotics. Your responsibilities will include programming PLCs and SCADA systems, participating in client interactions, and planning Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) protocols. You will be part of a team that focuses on providing complete turn-key solutions for clients across various sectors, including metals, aerospace, food and beverage, and water treatment. Responsibilities

  • Gain real project experience alongside experienced engineers
  • Assist in programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems utilizing industry leading software
  • Participate in Client/Stakeholder interactions, with potential onsite occurrences
  • Plan Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) protocols and troubleshoot control processes
  • Gain exposure to multiple manufacturing industries

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming and SCADA systems
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) products
  • Familiarity with robotics systems such as FANUC or KUKA
  • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA software like Factory-Talk View or Ignition
  • Interest in sustainable engineering practices
