About the position

The Staff Enterprise Applications Analyst at Northrop Grumman will support the Enterprise 1ERP organization, focusing on SAP's Cash Management, Treasury and Risk Management, and Concur Travel & Expense modules. This role involves collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver effective solutions, manage system configurations, and enhance business processes. The position is remote and requires up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support a diverse, cross-sector, cross-functional team of technical and business experts and end users.
  • Prioritize recurring work, changing priorities, and update ticket status with relevant information.
  • Interface between systems analysts/programmers and 1ERP Business Technology Partners to ensure IT designs in SAP meet end-user needs.
  • Collaborate, define, and deliver technical solutions to complex problems consistent with organizational goals.
  • Execute interface development, troubleshooting, enhancement development, and testing.
  • Provide SAP configuration support and manage configuration.
  • Oversee development and tracking of system roadmaps and schedules to meet strategic execution plans.
  • Provide routine status updates, including briefings.
  • Represent the 1ERP Cash/Treasury and Travel Systems team on various projects.
  • Anticipate potential issues and investigate issues reported by Business process Champions.
  • Support process improvement activities to deliver high-quality service to sector customers.
  • Work with other SAP Team analysts on cross-functional projects.
  • Update and write functional specification documents with 1ERP Business Technology Partners.
  • Identify training opportunities for the team.
  • Lead process improvement activities to enhance service quality.
  • Participate in the definition, implementation, and optimization of automated systems and processes.
  • Handle reporting requests by analyzing requirements and preparing functional specifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR 12 years with a Master's degree; OR 9 years with a PhD; OR 14 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong hands-on SAP Cash Management and/or Treasury Risk Management experience in ECC 6.0 or higher.
  • Experience overseeing Bank account management, SAP Payment formats, and AP Payments process.
  • Experience managing Foreign Exchange rates, Interest rates, and CDS spreads.
  • Proficient in designing functional specifications, user training documentation, and test plans.
  • Experience gathering requirements, recommending solutions, and managing configuration.
  • Experience supporting and analyzing reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
  • Experience optimizing existing SAP modules/architecture integrations.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Ability to independently manage workload and lead collaboration activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS or MS degree in IT, Accounting, or Business
  • Experience with S/4 HANA
  • Experience with production support and/or full life cycle SAP project implementation.
  • Experience with master data and configuration in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Experience with core financial modules GL, AP, and AR.
  • Experience with SAP Concur Travel & Expense Administration.
  • Experience with Fiori.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Excel and/or Access.
