About the position

The Staff Event Program Manager will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of educational events for the Intuit for Education team, which is part of Corporate Responsibility. This role is crucial in developing scalable event strategies that align with business objectives and help reach more students and educators. The manager will oversee events from large awareness initiatives to smaller engagement activities, ensuring they effectively contribute to the mission of enhancing financial literacy among future generations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive events end-to-end (E2E) across core marketing and program priorities.
  • Develop a scalable events strategy as priorities grow.
  • Build strategies for each event or event series to rally cross-functional stakeholders behind the vision.
  • Lead integrated project teams to create and drive event experiences, including concept, vision, communications, and logistics.
  • Develop and manage workback plans and cross-functional timelines, acting as the source of truth for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics including budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, and deliverables tracking.
  • Build and maintain key leadership and stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Identify and problem solve resourcing risks and manage competing projects effectively.
  • Demonstrate business impact via clearly outlined goals for each event experience and track/report post-event outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience running events end-to-end (from strategy to execution).
  • Excellent project management and program management skills.
  • Deep event project management expertise, with the ability to develop and maintain workback plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Proven ability to drive informed, context-based decisions with a passion for the customer.
  • Expertise in leading complex projects and events running simultaneously.
  • Excellent collaborator with a team-first mindset.
  • Ability to demonstrate how events align with and impact key business drivers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
