About the position

The Staff Events Program Manager will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of education events for the Intuit for Education team, which is part of Corporate Responsibility. This role focuses on developing personal and entrepreneurial finance skills for students, aiming to bridge the financial literacy gap in the US. The manager will oversee events ranging from large awareness initiatives to smaller engagement activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing impact on students and educators.

Responsibilities

  • Drive events end-to-end (E2E) across core marketing and program priorities.
  • Build strategies for each event or event series to rally cross-functional stakeholders behind the vision that deliver on business objectives and priorities.
  • Develop an efficient scalable event strategy for Corporate Responsibility that allows scaling of priority programs.
  • Lead integrated project teams to create and drive event experiences, including concept, vision, communications, web, registration, programming, visual design, event tech, video content, and logistics.
  • Build and manage workback plans and cross-functional timelines, detailed project plans, and workstream requirements.
  • Develop and manage/execute end-to-end event logistics including budgeting, venue, agency management, scheduling, speaker preparation, contracts, vendors, and deliverables tracking.
  • Build and maintain key leadership and stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Effectively manage resources to deliver against competing projects and identify resourcing risks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience running events end-to-end (from strategy to execution)
  • Experience driving both strategy and execution for events with a creative mindset
  • Excellent project management and program management skills
  • Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver
  • Deep event project management expertise
  • Proven ability to drive informed, context-based decisions
  • Proven expertise in leading complex projects and events
  • Excellent collaborator with a team-first mindset
  • Ability to demonstrate how events align with key business drivers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
