As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming healthcare through technology. This position requires a proficient full-stack developer who thrives in an Agile environment, contributing hands-on to deliver innovative technology solutions that enhance safety and cost-effectiveness in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for various aspects of the technology stack, including user experience, infrastructure, data modeling, and business logic. Your understanding of customer and business needs will be essential in defining API contracts and developing web services that meet those needs. In this role, you will be a creator with a strong desire to develop products that positively impact lives. You should be a self-starter who enjoys solving problems through technology and has hands-on experience across the entire technology stack. Your involvement will span all stages of product design and development, from creating a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to architecting and building scalable production systems. A passion for delivering quality is crucial, and experience in practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) will be beneficial. You will collaborate with high-performing teams to improve delivery capabilities and will be motivated by solving challenging technical problems. Co-locating with the development team is also a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance user experience for applications.
- Manage infrastructure including service, network, and hosting.
- Model data effectively to support application functionality.
- Implement business logic to meet customer needs.
- Define API contracts and develop web services.
- Collaborate with teams to improve delivery capabilities.
- Participate in all stages of product design and development, from MVP to production systems.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to drive project success.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in software development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in primary technologies: Node.js, Angular, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React Native/iOS development, WebRTC, Redis, Docker.
- Strong coaching ability in Agile Engineering Practices.
- Proficiency in API Design and development.
- Experience with Cloud Technologies including CI/CD, AWS, and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Scheduling and Workflow Tools.
- Familiarity with Health Care Datasets and JavaScript frameworks (Angular).
- Understanding of DevOps tools and principles.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with mobile application development using React Native.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
