About the position

The Staff Inventory/Maintenance and Repair Operations Business Analyst will support SAP for the Space business area at Lockheed Martin. This role involves facilitating the development, implementation, and sustainment of the SAP system and processes, optimizing sustainment and inventory processing, and collaborating with functional users and IT teams to translate requirements and improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development, implementation, and sustainment of the SAP system and processes.
  • Work across multiple project teams to optimize sustainment and inventory processing.
  • Translate requirements and resolve errors in collaboration with Space functional users and IT teams.
  • Write functional specifications, create test plans and scripts, and perform system integration testing.
  • Analyze large production, capacity, inventory, and MRO related data.
  • Adapt business processes into automated tools and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and functional teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years configuration experience in SAP.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience supporting full cycle implementation including Gap Analysis, Requirements gathering, blueprinting, Development, Testing, Reporting, Go-live and Post Go-live support.
  • Experience in writing functional specifications and performing system integration testing.
  • Integral knowledge in SAP procurement and supply chain processing.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Analytic skills in analyzing large production, capacity, inventory and MRO related data.
  • Understanding of software agile development lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

  • In-depth understanding of SAP equipment masters/records and inventory movement related to sustainment.
  • High-level understanding of all SAP processes related to inventory and sustainment processing.
  • Strong understanding of SAP configuration related to sustainment and inventory processes.
