About the position

The Systems Administrator position at Lockheed Martin's Spectrum Convergence involves providing support for various IT systems in an agile scrum environment. This role requires full-time relocation to Guam for 6-12 months, with a possibility of extension, and includes a one-month training period in either King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO. The position focuses on managing IT systems, ensuring security against cyber threats, and requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various IT systems in an agile scrum environment.
• Manage day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Patch and harden Linux RedHat OS and collaborate with security personnel to protect against cyber threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 7 years of professional experience, or 5 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Advanced professional experience with Linux system administration.
• Experience in software practices and configuration management.
• Scripting experience.

• RedHat OS patching/hardening experience.
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift.
• Experience with AWX.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, team environment.
• Agile development experience.
