We are seeking engineers who are passionate about working with cutting-edge technology at the intersection of these domains. As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and designing large-scale inference, recommendation, and interactive agent systems that are self-learning. You will work on developing and customizing deep learning generative models tailored for eCommerce customer scenarios, as well as training foundational models that contribute to building learning systems. Your role will involve defining processes and experiments for end-to-end (E2E) foundational models, refining agent and model training using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and building comprehensive AI pipelines for managing foundational models. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will mentor and guide team members on frameworks and methodologies related to LLMs, RAGs, and their limitations, as well as semantic web and reinforcement learning. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure that the foundational models and knowledge captured align with Coupang's overall AI strategy.
