About the position

Qualcomm Technologies is seeking a tech-savvy and self-motivated communications leader to manage the Snapdragon product communications team. This role involves strategizing, planning, and executing communication programs for various business sectors including Mobile, Compute, XR, Wearables, and Hearables. The individual will lead a team responsible for developing and executing both long-term and immediate communication strategies, managing media relations, and ensuring alignment across marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of communication strategies for Snapdragon products.
• Counsel business leaders on communication programs and strategies to support business objectives.
• Drive the creation of multimedia communication assets.
• Execute activations to enhance Snapdragon's brand perception.
• Manage media inquiries and recommend responses and content.
• Oversee agency and in-house resources for communication initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure internal alignment on marketing activities.
• Manage business unit reporting and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Public Relations or related work experience, or Associate's degree and 9+ years of experience.
• Advanced degrees in relevant fields may substitute for up to two years of work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 10 years of experience in marketing or public relations within the technology sector.
• Experience leading press/media relations and influencer relations programming.
• Experience with global media events and product launches.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong prioritization skills across multiple projects.
