About the position

The Staff Marketing Coordinator (SMC) at Tepa Companies is an entry-level position focused on gathering, researching, and developing marketing-related information and data for the Proposals and Communications Department. The SMC will assist in coordinating marketing campaigns, branded communications, and proposal information support, contributing to the overall marketing efforts of Tepa Companies nationwide. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with experienced marketing and proposal teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality marketing materials while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and develop marketing-related information and data for proposals and communications.
  • Assist in the coordination of marketing campaigns and branded communications.
  • Support the marketing, communications, and proposals teams to ensure timely delivery of requested information.
  • Utilize MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite to organize and manage documents and data.
  • Develop and implement content and social media strategies to increase brand engagement.
  • Communicate with team members to clarify and gather information for proposals and related documents.
  • Assist with the development of proposal documents based on client solicitation requirements.
  • Utilize Tepa's Data Asset Management platform to gather and update data for communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, business, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industries.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment to gather data and create content.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Detail-oriented with document formatting and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or knowledge of professional societies (PRSA, SMPS, SAME, etc.).
  • Understanding and skilled use of social media channels.
