About the position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care, which includes direct and indirect nursing care, health maintenance, teaching, counseling, planning, and restoration for optimal functioning and comfort of patients. This role requires a graduate from an approved school for professional nursing and a current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts. The Registered Professional Nurse acts as a health care team leader, ensuring the safe delivery of patient-centered, goal-oriented care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and health maintenance to patients.
- Teach and counsel patients regarding their health and care plans.
- Plan and implement nursing interventions to restore optimal functioning.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Lead the health care team in delivering safe and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Two years postgraduate experience in a medical/surgical or addictions medicine setting.
- Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.
- CPR certification.

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
