About the position
The Staff Nurse position at APT Foundation is a full-time role focused on providing care to patients in the Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) program. The nurse will work under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including some weekends, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the MOUD program.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage multiple competing tasks effectively in a high-stress environment.
- Attend to patients' needs with punctuality and reliability.
- Plan necessary absences in advance.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN or LPN license.
- 2 years of experience in mental health and/or substance misuse.
- Up-to-date CPR certification.
- Valid CT Driver's License.
