About the position

The Staff Nurse position at The Pearl At Fairview involves providing direct patient care in an assisted living facility. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing minor treatments, and monitoring vital signs
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems (ALIS)
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients
• Assist with the ordering, maintenance, and management of durable medical equipment (DME)
• Safely assist with transferring and positioning patients

Requirements

• Valid LPN or RN license
• Familiarity with ALIS electronic medical record systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
