About the position

The Boston Home is seeking dynamic and caring Staff Nurses (RN/LPN) for part-time and per diem positions. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to residents in a five-star rated long-term care community that specializes in supporting adults with multiple sclerosis and other advanced neurological disorders. Nurses will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, contributing to their well-being in a stable and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents.

Requirements

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with adults with neurological disorders.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
