Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and documentation.
  • Administer immunizations and other health programs as developed by Walmart.
  • Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on customer service approaches.
  • Understand and manage business aspects of the pharmacy, including inventory control and compliance.
  • Utilize tools and data to understand community health concerns and improve patient outcomes.
  • Create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy within the pharmacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
