About the position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering patient care and supporting the management of pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring patient safety, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service. You will lead and develop pharmacy support staff while managing inventory and financial profitability, all aimed at improving health outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Oversee the management and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements.
• Implement quality assurance measures and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage personnel, including training and development of pharmacy support staff.
• Oversee inventory management and financial profitability of the pharmacy.
• Contribute to loss prevention strategies and workflow management.
• Lead patient care programs to keep customers healthy and engaged.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
