Responsibilities
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
- Oversee the management and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Manage personnel effectively, including training and development of staff.
- Oversee inventory management and financial profitability of the pharmacy.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and workflow management processes.
- Lead patient care programs to keep customers healthy and engaged.
- Motivate and inspire Pharmacy Support Staff to maximize their strengths and address development opportunities.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
