Responsibilities

  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
  • Oversee the management and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy.
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice standards.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
  • Manage personnel effectively, including training and development of staff.
  • Oversee inventory management and financial profitability of the pharmacy.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies and workflow management processes.
  • Lead patient care programs to keep customers healthy and engaged.
  • Motivate and inspire Pharmacy Support Staff to maximize their strengths and address development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
