About the position

The Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health plays a crucial role in delivering patient care and ensuring the effective operation of the pharmacy. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for leading the pharmacy team, managing patient safety, and implementing patient care programs to enhance health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
• Implement solutions and lead the team to achieve specified goals.
• Adapt to changes in the healthcare environment and adjust plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of caring and enthusiasm.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
