About the position

The Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health plays a crucial role in delivering patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for leading the pharmacy team, managing inventory, and implementing patient care programs to enhance health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient care programs are effectively implemented.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
• Adapt to changes in the community healthcare setting and adjust plans accordingly.
• Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
