About the position

The Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health plays a crucial role in delivering patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient care programs are effectively adopted and managed.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments to maximize strengths and address development opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
• Adapt to changes in the community healthcare setting and adjust plans accordingly.
• Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride among colleagues.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
