About the position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering human-centric health care by ensuring patient safety, managing pharmacy operations, and leading a team of Pharmacy Technicians. Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance and customer service standards are met.
• Handle personnel management and inventory management effectively.
• Drive financial profitability and loss prevention initiatives.
• Implement patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to meaningful solutions for growth.
• Adapt to changes in a dynamic community healthcare setting and adjust plans accordingly.
• Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
