About the position

The Staff Photographer/Sales Associate role at Sunset and Whale Watch Cruises involves capturing high-quality photographs during whale watch and sunset dinner cruises. Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs during sunset and whale watch cruises, ensuring optimal lighting and composition.
• Edit and manipulate images using Darkroom and Adobe Photoshop to enhance visual appeal.
• Present finished product using iPad Photo App: introduce a vision, create value, and find the best sales process.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and sales transactions.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize communication skills to engage with diverse clientele, including bilingual interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Requirements

• Solid communication skills
• Background in customer service and sales
• Ability to perform with little supervision and establish priorities with objectives
• Proficient operating Windows and Mac OS systems
• Experience with digital DSLR and Mirrorless cameras
• Ability to perform simple photo editing in Photoshop
• Available to work Friday nights and holidays.
