About the position

The Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Oncologist who will also develop a practice in Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Arthroplasty. This position offers an opportunity to join a regional referral, tertiary care practice with a Level 1 Trauma program, focusing on both patient care and academic responsibilities within the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient care in Orthopaedic Oncology and Hip and Knee Arthroplasty.
  • Participate in the adult orthopaedic trauma call coverage schedule.
  • Engage in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
  • Contribute to clinical research initiatives within the department.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians across departments.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent).
  • Board eligible/board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Oncology and Hip and Knee Arthroplasty (or other specialty).
  • Strong patient care abilities and interest in teaching.
