About the position

At EarnIn, we are on a mission to reinvent the financial system to better serve individuals living paycheck to paycheck. As a Staff level Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in this mission by leveraging analytics, data science, and experimentation to derive insights that drive our growth. This position is based in our Palo Alto headquarters and requires hybrid work, with two days in the office each week. You will have the opportunity to work in various areas such as growth, retention, and customer experience, aligning your interests and strengths with the company's needs. In this high-impact role, you will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define key metrics and address critical questions. Your responsibilities will include conducting analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and transforming hypotheses into actionable experiments, particularly through A/B testing. You will also be responsible for identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing dashboards to monitor these metrics, providing insights into our current performance and progress towards our goals. Your ability to communicate results effectively will be essential, as you will influence stakeholders and serve as a trusted partner to the product, engineering, and leadership teams. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in analytics but also possesses strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally in team environments. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the product and engineering team to define key metrics and answer important questions.
  • Conduct analysis and opportunity sizing to find opportunities for improvement and turn hypotheses into actionable experiments (A/B Testing).
  • Identify KPIs and develop dashboards to monitor metrics and assess progress towards goals.
  • Communicate results and influence stakeholders, serving as a trusted thought partner for the product, engineering, and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product analytics/data science.
  • Expert experience with SQL and experience with Python or R.
  • Ability to think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, often ambiguous work environment.
  • Experience designing, interpreting, and iterating on A/B tests.
  • Practical knowledge of experimentation methodologies and frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally in team environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Periscope, Tableau, Databricks.
