About the position
The Product Designer role at Robinhood focuses on leveraging AI to transform investment experiences for users. The designer will be responsible for defining the design strategy that enhances how millions of users invest, creating innovative AI-driven products, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver impactful solutions. This position emphasizes creativity, user insights, and agile design methodologies to push the boundaries of traditional investment platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define design strategy of how AI can transform how millions of users invest
- Create creative and innovative AI experiences that go beyond typical Graphical UIs
- Stay agile in design approaches, applying pixel-perfect attention to detail when necessary and creating low-fidelity concepts and prototypes when appropriate
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges
- Leverage data and user insights to inform decision-making and drive business impact
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating love and care for the craft
- Proven experience building impactful 0-1 consumer-facing mobile and web products
- Strong product sensibility, communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills
- Experience or interest in investing and AI
