About the position

The Staff Product Designer at Linktree will lead design innovation efforts to create scalable and elegant solutions for social commerce and other initiatives aimed at millions of creators. This high-impact role requires systemic thinking and collaboration across product teams to ensure successful design execution and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the visioning, strategy, and execution of digital design initiatives.
  • Conduct deep dives into user needs to identify challenges and opportunities for design innovation.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Contribute to and curate design systems, style guides, and UI patterns for consistency.
  • Establish and refine design processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders for cohesive user experiences.
  • Work with the UX research team to analyze data and incorporate insights into design solutions.
  • Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of design excellence.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, including executives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital product design with a proven track record.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • A portfolio showcasing expertise in designing user experiences across platforms.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for articulating design vision.
  • Knowledge of design systems, interaction design, and information architecture principles.
  • Ability to lead design projects collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for solving complex design challenges and creating delightful user experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking about design challenges.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
