About the position

The Staff Product Designer for the TurboTax Live Assisted team at Intuit is responsible for creating user-centered design experiences that enhance the service delivery of Tax Pros. This role involves strategic thinking, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering innovative end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile platforms. The designer will lead the design vision, ensuring that products are not only functional but also emotionally resonant with users.

Responsibilities

• Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize user needs, business goals, and technological realities.
• Create and translate design concepts into wireframes and prototypes that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity.
• Use facilitative leadership skills to drive outcomes for multiple stakeholders across a matrix organization.
• Design components and patterns in collaboration with brand and product design teams, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Assist in defining the company-wide design system for Generative AI and advocate for its adoption across teams.
• Facilitate strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure cohesion between design and development.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, deliverables, and customer experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, graphic design, or a relevant field; graduate degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of interface design experience with a proven track record in delivering high-profile products across multiple platforms.
• Expert knowledge of user-centered design processes and experience working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in Agile development processes and working on technically complex initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, and design principles.
• Strong ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams and functions.
