About the position

As a Staff Product Designer at Quizlet, you will lead the design strategy and execution for the Learn study mode across web and native applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly and engaging study experiences, while also mentoring junior designers and fostering a culture of quality and collaboration within the design organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery and definition phases of complex projects related to the Learn study mode.
• Conduct research, write jobs to be done, map user flows, create wireframes, prototype, and design high-fidelity UI.
• Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform designs and optimize user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, content design, marketing, and analytics teams.
• Mentor and guide product designers through collaboration and sharing of insights.
• Present designs and gather feedback to enhance the design process.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing consumer applications across responsive web and native platforms.
• Proven track record of leading complex projects from discovery to delivery.
• Expert-level craft in UI and interaction design for consumer applications.
• Experience in owning product design projects from inception to completion.
• Strong collaboration skills with product management and engineering teams.
