About the position

The Staff Product Manager for B2B Transportation at Lyft will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Lyft Business, one of the company's fastest-growing and most profitable units. This position focuses on identifying and scaling innovative B2B transportation use cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective product solutions, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. The role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Lyft Business's head of strategy to assess the landscape of B2B transportation use cases and identify strategic opportunities for growth.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to build the right product(s) for identified use cases, testing and iterating on new opportunities.
  • Influence and coordinate the roadmaps of multiple product and engineering teams, balancing growth in established segments with new market opportunities.
  • Demonstrate customer obsession by understanding and empathizing with businesses' transportation pain points and prioritizing product solutions accordingly.
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across diverse audiences, from partner teams to executives.
  • Provide executional help and mentorship to junior team members across the product portfolio.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a product manager
  • 2+ years of B2B product management experience
  • Proven track record of scaling a product portfolio with strong product/market fit
  • Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams, including enterprise sales
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage project ambiguity and complexity
  • Strong analytical skills to define and analyze metrics for product success
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic intuition for various audiences
  • Ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and lead multiple projects effectively
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills
