About the position

The Staff Product Manager for Body Structures and Closures at Lucid Motors is responsible for leading the product vision and strategy for innovative vehicle systems. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance customer experience and satisfaction while ensuring alignment with the company's business strategy and market trends. The position requires a strong focus on market analysis, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies into the vehicle ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision and strategy for relevant technologies to secure Lucid's competitive advantage.
  • Translate market positioning into strategic vectors and tactical actions for optimal integration with the vehicle ecosystem.
  • Drive multi-year product roadmaps aligned with the company's business strategy and market trends.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless integration of technologies that enhance customer experience.
  • Partner with marketing teams to define market needs and express Lucid's advantages compellingly.
  • Serve as the primary contact between engineering, UX, marketing, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify trends and innovation opportunities in relevant technologies.
  • Engage with research teams and vendors to support Lucid's leadership positioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize product innovation and customer impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent competence strongly desired.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a product manager in automotive or technical industries.
  • Significant knowledge of body-related technologies, specifically in Closures systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects under pressure.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for sustainability and electric vehicles.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven track record of deriving insights from qualitative and quantitative user experience research.
  • Well-developed sense for visual aesthetics and user experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering, materials properties, and ergonomics.
  • Experience in international markets with multinational working experience.
