The Staff Product Manager for Lighting, Vision, and Sensing at Lucid Motors is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and defining cutting-edge vehicle systems. This position involves leading product vision and strategy, collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experience, and conducting market analysis to drive innovation in vehicle technologies. Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision and strategy for vehicle lighting, vision, and sensing technologies.
  • Translate market positioning into strategic vectors and tactical actions for the lighting, vision, and sensing teams.
  • Drive multi-year product roadmaps aligned with the company's business strategy and market trends.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless integration of technologies that enhance customer experience.
  • Partner with marketing teams to define market needs and customer value propositions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering, UX, marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Gather insights and feedback from stakeholders to integrate into product development processes.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify trends and innovation opportunities in vehicle sensing technologies.
  • Engage with research teams and vendors to support development programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize product innovation and customer impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a product manager, preferably in the automotive or technical industries.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects under pressure.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for sustainability and electric vehicles.
  • Knowledge of vehicle lighting, vision, and sensing technologies or rapid onboarding in similar fields.
  • Refined communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting to upper management under pressure.

  • Proven track record of deriving insights from qualitative and quantitative user experience research.
  • Strong sense for visual aesthetics and user experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering and related manufacturing processes.
