About the position

As a Staff Platform Product Manager for Tax Tooling and Knowledge Management at Intuit, you will lead the development of innovative capabilities to acquire, encode, and certify tax knowledge from government agencies. This role involves creating advanced tools such as site crawlers and impact analysis systems, aimed at simplifying tax compliance and enhancing user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic vision for the platform, ensuring successful product launches and maintaining technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a platform product and tools strategy in collaboration with product development, design, and architecture teams.
• Build a short- and long-term platform vision and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage the product management process including backlog grooming, road mapping, and feature prioritization.
• Handle upstream and downstream dependency requests and timelines.
• Create and refine product requirements documents based on strategy and customer needs.
• Drive technology and functional maturity of reusable platform components.
• Communicate and coordinate with the program management team.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to design secure and scalable solutions.
• Define success metrics and prioritize requirements using a data-driven approach.
• Partner with program management to ensure project execution and delivery.
• Engage with end-users to understand their pain points and gather insights for solutions.
• Represent the team in presentations and meetings with customers and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of experience in product management or related field.
• Deep understanding of product management processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in platform PM roles and delivering platform capabilities for enterprise needs.
• Ability to learn quickly and become a domain expert with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrable technical depth in SaaS software development.
• Experience in program/project management and managing complex deliverables across teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies as a product owner.
• Proven ability to define big visions and inspire teams to innovate.
• Strong customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities.
• Excellent collaboration skills across teams and organizations.
