About the position

The Staff, Product Manager, Trust and Safety for Last Mile Delivery at Walmart is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to innovate and enhance the purchasing experience for customers through the development of a robust fraud and compliance platform. This role focuses on defining product strategy, implementing features to prevent fraudulent activities, and utilizing data and AI/ML models to ensure a secure platform. The position requires a customer-centric approach, creativity, collaboration, and strategic thinking to drive significant initiatives that will redefine the platform and experience for years to come.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and vision for the fraud and compliance platform.
• Implement features and functionalities to prevent fraudulent activities on the platform.
• Utilize data and AI/ML models to build a robust fraud and compliance platform.
• Work closely with the Trust & Safety team to launch new products and features that enhance platform security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in product management, or 9 years' experience in product management or related area.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
• Strong background in automation and simplification.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce technology, including knowledge of e-commerce platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience collaborating with data science teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
