About the position

The Staff Product Manager for TurboTax will lead the development of a transformative service offering that enhances how customers prepare and file their taxes. This role involves understanding the interplay between people, processes, and technology to create a seamless customer experience. The manager will work with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs, develop actionable plans, and oversee the rollout of new features, all while ensuring high quality and speed in execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team to identify customer needs and pain points.
  • Create transformative service experiences and translate them into actionable development plans.
  • Prototype solutions, measure outcomes, and manage end-to-end feature rollout and analysis.
  • Develop deep partnerships with designers, marketing, product managers, engineers, tax experts, analysts, and operators.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and usage data to identify opportunities for improvements and new feature development.
  • Translate vision into strategy and execution roadmap to deliver measurable outcomes aligned with objectives.
  • Identify new opportunities based on customer and competitive research, industry trends, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management with a proven track record of delivering impactful results.
  • Experience in managing 2-sided network services is a plus.
  • Technical background in product management, engineering, or systems analysis is a plus.
  • Experience with AI & ML in product offerings is a plus.
  • Strong partnership and influence skills to drive prioritization and feature requirements.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or business; MBA preferred.
