About the position

The Staff Product Manager at Galileo Financial Technologies will oversee the entire product lifecycle for credit and lending products, from discovery to go-to-market. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with various teams to develop innovative solutions that address key problems in the financial technology space. The position requires a strategic mindset to build business cases, translate visions into actionable requirements, and lead go-to-market activities, ensuring successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire product lifecycle from discovery through go-to-market.
• Identify key problems and opportunities in the credit and lending space.
• Build compelling business cases showcasing market size and potential for products.
• Translate vision into actionable business requirements in collaboration with engineers.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product designs scale with future demands.
• Align stakeholders across risk, operations, legal, and more for product success.
• Lead all go-to-market activities and coordinate with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with credit and/or lending products, focusing on credit.
• Familiarity with Regulation Z, Truth In Lending Act, and other credit and lending regulations.
• Expert market research skills to understand user needs and anticipate trends.
• Proven success in launching differentiated products and managing existing portfolios.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to present complex ideas effectively.
• Relentless curiosity to understand and improve product functionality.
• Strong self-motivation to drive product success and own outcomes.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing needs.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience.
