About the position

The Staff Product Marketing Manager for Payments & Financial Services at BILL is responsible for driving strategy and execution across the entire go-to-market (GTM) lifecycle. This role focuses on developing strategies and programs to enhance growth and retention by collaborating with various teams including marketing, product, management, sales, and customer success. The position requires a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to effectively position and launch new products and features, particularly in the B2B SaaS and fintech sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and execution across the entire go-to-market lifecycle.
  • Develop strategies and programs to enhance growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, management, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Act as the voice of the customer in product roadmap discussions.
  • Lead the creation of differentiated and compelling product positioning and messaging.
  • Orchestrate effective go-to-market launches.
  • Conduct competitive monitoring and marketing research and analysis.
  • Develop customer advocacy initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in a product marketing or similar role in B2B SaaS and/or fintech.
  • Direct experience in bringing new payments offerings and financial services to market.
  • Experience successfully launching new features/products.
  • Experience developing strategic plans such as marketing plans, launch plans, or campaign plans.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and distilling insights from research data, customer interactions, and market feedback.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and influencing without authority.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
