Staff Project Manager

About the position

Zscaler is hiring a Staff Project Manager to work within our Customer Success organization. This role involves proactively engaging team members to address blockers, driving time-sensitive deliverables from requirements capture through delivery, tracking and reporting on project status, and strategizing with business partners to ensure alignment on their roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a background in implementing cross-functional projects and some AI experience. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, PMO, the Staff Project Manager will manage relationships with business partners, establish success criteria, metrics, milestones, and timelines, and ensure projects remain on target. The role also includes managing the project team, maintaining project tracking and documentation, coordinating various calls, and providing regular status updates.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with business partners while establishing success criteria, metrics, milestones, and timelines.
• Ensure projects remain on target by diligently driving the project to success.
• Manage project team to ensure all are aligned and deliverables are met.
• Maintain project tracking and documentation within appropriate systems, templates, and databases.
• Coordinate and lead various calls including working team syncs, kickoff calls, and Steering Committees.
• Provide regular status updates, streamlining messages to fit different audiences while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role.
• 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Resourceful problem-solver skilled in aligning diverse teams to deliver innovative and practical solutions.
• Proficiency with tools like Asana, JIRA, Confluence, Google Workspace, and Excel for efficient project tracking and reporting.
• Effective communicator with a track record of delivering tailored updates to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
