As a Staff Propulsion Engineer in the Engine Systems & Test Team, you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of our innovative Terran R rocket. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that span across simulation and software tools, system-level architecture, requirements management, and integrated system hotfire testing. You will collaborate closely with component engineers, manufacturing teams, and test teams to ensure the successful delivery of engines that propel our rockets into orbit. Your role will require you to drive engine system architecture and CONOPS trades, manage engine interfaces, and negotiate requirements to optimize the vehicle's performance. You will also support engine system analysis, simulation, and testing, contributing to tool development and other critical tasks. This highly technical position demands not only coordination and facilitation among various technical teams but also the application of your deep technical expertise to solve complex problems. To thrive in this role, you should be a self-starter with a proven track record of leading collaborative projects to completion with minimal oversight.
