Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessment, diagnostic, and evidence-based treatment services.
  • Conduct individual and group interventions for patients with mental health diagnoses.

  • Provide consultation on mental health diagnoses and treatment plans to various professionals.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on mental health issues and treatment options.
  • Engage families of veterans in treatment for caregiver burden.
  • Stay updated with current clinical assessment and psychotherapy research literature.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of a professional psychology internship training program accredited by APA or CPA.
  • Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a U.S. state or territory.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with evidence-based treatment for PTSD and other mental health disorders.
  • Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders, Mood Disorders, and Serious Mental Illness.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
