About the position

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology to provide patient-centered care in Harwood Heights, Illinois. This part-time position involves working night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, focusing on creating a safe patient environment and ensuring the best patient experience through evidence-based practices and clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate patient-centered care across the continuum.
• Utilize assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient care.
• Create a safe patient environment and enhance patient experience.
• Respond to patients in a timely manner and access all areas of the unit.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients in emergencies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with an agreement to enroll in a BSN completion program within four years for nurses with less than 12 months of experience.
• Nurses with more than 12 months of experience must possess a BSN or obtain AAH recognized nursing certification within one year of hire.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts.

Nice-to-haves
