Inova Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Outpatient Cardiology department in Lorton, Virginia. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to patients with cardiovascular needs, utilizing advanced diagnostic procedures and treatments. The RN will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient education, care coordination, and clinical workflow management in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education and answer questions pre- and post-surgery.
• Coordinate patient readiness and care throughout the clinic.
• Conduct stress testing (Regular, Echo, and Nuclear).
• Assist patients in managing INR levels.
• Oversee clinical workflow and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience required.
• Preferred: Greater than one year of RN experience in Cardiology Nursing (IMCU, PCU, Tele, CVICU).
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if ADN, must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
• Certification: BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required.
• Licensure: RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.

• Prior experience in Cardiology Nursing such as in IMCU, PCU, Tele, CVICU.
