Responsibilities

  • Support the development and production of multi-function modules used in high-reliability applications.
  • Design and develop circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full-rate production.
  • Uncover and resolve technical problems associated with the development and implementation of operational products.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers on the team.
  • Contribute to or author proposals and participate in business capture efforts.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, technicians, and manufacturing support personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field with a minimum of 9 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience with RF design, troubleshooting, and integration issues.
  • Experience with schematic capture, RF block diagram reviews, and circuit card assemblies (CCA).
  • Proficiency in using microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain a secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
  • Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry.
  • Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers.
  • Experience leading successful technical projects.
  • Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
  • Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
  • Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications and test data.
