Joining Collibra's DQ Sales Engineering team, we are looking for a talented Data Quality Expert who will be responsible for driving business focused on Collibra's Data Quality platform. This role will support opportunities directly with our core Sales Engineers, primarily focusing on North America while also supporting partner and alliance events when applicable. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work with peers and cross-functional teams as the Collibra Data Quality expert. You will engage with Collibra marketing, customer success, product management, and sales teams to manage, develop, and grow Collibra's Data Quality initiatives. As a Staff Data Quality Engineer at Collibra, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the field sales engineering team, acting as a subject matter expert for all things related to Collibra Data Quality after basic qualification and discovery. Your responsibilities will include leading deep technical dives with prospects and existing customers regarding Collibra Data Quality, ensuring a thorough understanding of their requirements. You will collaborate with Sales Engineers to scope complex custom demos and proof of concepts (POCs), ensuring their success by tying defined use cases and success criteria back to the value for prospects and customers. Additionally, you will validate and confirm qualified opportunities for Collibra Data Quality and assist the team in demonstrating customer value. Your role will also involve supporting various sales and marketing activities, webcasts, and contract negotiations. You will be expected to build collaborative relationships, successfully close sales with partners, and enable them for success while supporting partner marketing activities. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and you will need to have a strong technical proficiency in SQL, Java, Spark, REST APIs, Active Directory, and data pipelining. The measures of success in this role include becoming familiar with Collibra and its processes within your first month, becoming a voice for Collibra by proving proficiency in the software within your third month, and by your sixth month, helping fellow solution representatives serve customers in all pre-sales activities, demonstrations, and proof-of-values.
