About the position

The position involves conducting research in a cancer biology lab focused on understanding the mechanisms of novel cancer targets to improve patient outcomes. The lab's current research theme centers on genome integrity maintenance, particularly the roles of Profilin-1 and p97/VCP proteins in cancer progression and chemotherapy resistance. The researcher will design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the development of research protocols and publications.

Responsibilities

  • Design research protocols and procedures for data collection and management.
  • Assist with grant preparation and reporting.
  • Perform complex statistical analysis of collected data and write interpretative reports.
  • Verify the correctness of submitted data and make recommendations based on analyses.
  • Document research topics and prepare papers for publication or presentation.
  • Solve practical problems related to equipment or test subjects.
  • Suggest technical or procedural improvements in testing methods.
  • Conduct literature searches related to research projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of laboratory operations experience.
