Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, soil science, environmental science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in field surveys, environmental inspections, or compliance-related tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, particularly related to the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act.
  • Understanding of habitat restoration techniques, wetland delineations, and mitigation monitoring.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and data interpretation.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams), GPS mapping applications (e.g., ArcGIS Field Maps), and data management systems.
  • Ability to conduct fieldwork in challenging terrains and weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Clean driving record with experience driving in off-road conditions, using a four-wheel drive vehicle, and traveling during winter weather.
  • Effective communication skills for technical writing and interaction with clients, regulators, and team members.
