Responsibilities

  • Assists with accounting, auditing and budgeting within the organization.
  • Performs accounting tasks, including vendor payments and contractor collections and reporting.
  • Prepares and reconciles financial statements and balance sheets, and reports.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains records.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge through internal learning and continued education.
  • Coordinates with and prepares reports for senior management.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Accounting degree from a four-year college/university.
  • Minimum three years accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with construction (accounting system) strongly desired.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication, Analytical and Problem Solving skills.
  • CPA or additional education and certificates in pursuit of CPA a plus.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
