About the position

The Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Tesla Motors, Inc. will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the vehicle software systems. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure for vehicle software systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate reliability best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficient in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with vehicle software systems or automotive industry.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
