About the position

The Staff Site Reliability Engineer in Infrastructure Engineering at Tesla Motors, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical infrastructure systems. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Automate operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
